Oh goodness

So in my head I've been anxiously awaiting Sunday, Sunday, Sunday...then I realized all the daily subscribers got this today:

ART OF THE BLUFF

...and if that weren't crazy enough, join me (online) Tuesday at noon:

WASHINGTON POST LIVE ONLINE CHAT

I'll actually be writing in from the Sewanee Writer's Conference!

Sandra, your column was hilarious! Really smart about D.C. and nicely self-deprecating. LOVED the sauna incident ... really empathized with your attempt to do as the Romans do, only to find that most of the Romans still had their clothes on.

Great that you can look back at this and laugh (though I'm sure it must have been slightly mortifying at the time).

Thanks everyone. I'm thrilled and, well, relieved. Why oh why is this so much scarier than publishing a poem?
