I liked your poems, especially the line: "there’s no plan for sixty feet of hungry water."
It's nice to hear your voice in Brooklyn! Congrats!
Congrats, Sandra! I love PLR! And very nice reading too. Very much enjoyed.
Word verification: tkodqgyb, which, I assume, means the reading was a knockout?
Gosh, it's really nice to have people go and take a look--and better yet, *like* the work. Thanks for the encouragment...I'm happy to report both those poems are in the book-to-be!
Nate, you have no idea what a hassle it was getting a microphone and software so I could record those poems, then converting the files to MP3. Glad it was worth it!
Oh, Sandra, but I do... I was in the previous issue and recorded a poem for it, and geez, how difficult indeed to get software and record (the million different times before I was satisfied with a reading). I had help with obtaining software, but yes, the other stuff... ugh! It was a blast to do, though. And I really enjoy your work. I can't wait for the book. Autograph, right?
