I've been quiet this week, happily settling into my new job editing full-time. Since I handle the Books section, my job includes keeping on top of any forthcoming titles. One that crossed my desk today--and greatly amused me--

What do you do if gin IS breakfast?
Congratulations on the new gig, whatever that may be. (Still at the American Scholar?)
I would advocate brown liquors in the morning if one is having them straight, but people of good will have different views on this.
