...Coming in March to a bookstore near you. Brent Casanova, the artist at Western Michigan, did a fantastic job. The image of a cat falling is taken from the title poem. I like that it has an immediate, identifiable connection with the book (seems like a lot of new covers bear an eye-catching but random image: a visual
non sequitur, at least until you read the book). This design has a strong graphic and kinetic value; no paintings in boxes here. Thanks Brent!

Hooray! I love it!
Soon you'll be like #4 in sales!! congrats!!!
This is a cool cover -- like the interesting yellow shades. Congrats! (Does the cat trasnform into a tiger? ;) )
Congratulsations Sandra-- it's a really splendid cover. I look forward to reading it!
Congratulations, Sandra -- this is wonderful. I really like the cover -- it evokes the whole nine lives idea, besides just being very neat.
This is Jan. :> I told you I read your blog, but I haven't created one myself per se. I'm trying to stay in touch with this e-blog address, but also stay incognito at the same time.
Anyway, I hope to get a copy of your book, very soon! <3
Oh, very cool cover! I'm looking forward to having a copy in my hands. :)
Love the kitty. So excited to get my hands on a copy of your book!
Hi Sandra,
I got here via 32poems. I'm new to the whole blog thing but not to new to connecting with poets online. Congrats on your collection. Will be back to read more. Looking forward to hearing more about your release.
It's a lovely cover.
It's perfect!
It's really great to hear everyone's feedback.
For a while, only a few friends and family had seen it--and their responses had been mainly "I can't see your name," which occasioned a color correction in the design. But now the cat's out of the bag, so to speak...
Jan, Susan, thanks for showing your faces to say hello. = ) The blog world welcomes you!
Woo hoo! Major major congrats! It's lovely.
LOVE THE COVER!!
Meeeeow!!!
See you soon!
xo
